“Hold Me” has been a work in progress for over 20 years. It’s a song that Greg Garner, an old high school friend, started and never finished. He did that often with songs. I had a fondness for this tune and I told him I was going to finish it. I tried over and over but was never satisfied. The lyrics have changed several times over the last two decades and I added the bridge about a week before we recorded. I can finally say it’s written, it’s done, and I think quite like it.
